These Terms govern your use of LegalConnects. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
This page is a working draft to fill an otherwise-empty legal page — it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate. Have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it, and replace bracketed placeholders [like this] with your actual details.
LegalConnects is a technology platform that helps clients find Bar Council-verified advocates and helps advocates manage bookings, cases, and clients. LegalConnects is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a party to any engagement between a client and an advocate.
We verify the Bar Council enrolment details advocates submit in good faith, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of any advocate's self-reported experience, fees, or availability, and we do not vouch for the outcome of any matter. Engaging an advocate found through the Service creates a direct relationship between you and that advocate — not with LegalConnects.
Consultation fees are set by individual advocates. LegalConnects does not process payments on the platform — fees are payable directly between the client and advocate, by whatever method they agree on. Advocates may record invoices for their own bookkeeping within their dashboard; this is a record-keeping tool only and does not constitute a payment made through LegalConnects. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellation terms.
