SC adjourns Punjab's plea against CBI probe to Friday

Today the Supreme Court put off Punjab's challenge to the High Court's CBI-probe order till Friday, because the case file reached Justice Sheel Nagu too late for the bench to hear it. It also refused the state's request for interim protection against precipitative steps, Justice Dipankar Datta asking how orders could pass before the file was read.
