BJD demands CEC's resignation over Form 6 'lie'

Odisha's opposition BJD demanded on Monday that CEC Gyanesh Kumar resign after the Supreme Court said it never approved the modified Form 6, with party spokesperson Lenin Mohanty saying he has 'no option but to resign, taking moral responsibility'. BJD leader Lekhashree Samantsinghar said 27.50 lakh people were deleted from Odisha's electoral roll in the SIR, and party president Naveen Patnaik has repeatedly demanded a relook of the entire exercise.
